Each year thousands of birds die due to abuse, neglect, or accidental escape. A pet bird that gets loose has a very limited chance of survival. The volunteers at Parrot Rescue are often asked to help in these situations. We work to see that lost birds are reunited with their loving owners and abused or unwanted birds find new, loving environments.
However, these are the basic steps of our adoption process. The adoption process may be subject to change, depending on the bird. If any step below is changed, this will be discussed with the potential adopter: Step 1 - Apply.
